I’m a couple days late I know, but I’ve had so many other things on my mind lately. I’ll always remember this blog though. Anyway, I’m currently listening to “Surf Wax America” by Weezer and currently reading Under the Dome by Stephen King. I’m also really digging the albums Daisy and The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New. That’s all I have to say really, except I did get the Webkinz Boston Terrier for Christmas, and named him Butch. New Years was awesome, but I have to go to school tomorrow unfortunately. Whatevs, it’s a new semester, and maybe I’ll actually make the honor roll this time!
Hey guys,
Since my last post, my grandparents (who live in Louisiana) came up to my town to visit, so I got my Christmas present from them early! As it turned out, I got a Webkinz Turkey and Llama! I name the turkey Rivers (after Rivers Cuomo of Weezer) and the llama Tina (after the llama from Napoleon Dynamite). I built an outdoor garden for Rivers and Tina got a nice, modern room with the music Superbed. I don’t have any pics right now, however. Okay, on to the next feature!
Normally I don’t do this and this is primarily a Webkinz blog, but this year I have listened to more music than ever and I’d like to share with you my favorite albums of 2009!
This album has everything; beautiful orchestras, haunting vocals, killer guitars and brilliant pianos. It’s really hard to name highlights on this, as it’s better taken as a coherent whole than a collection of songs. To me, albums like this are all the more stronger because of it. It’s refreshing to get an album where all the parts work together as a whole and make the album just that much better because of it. I highly recommend this to everyone, but it is an album that will no doubt need time to grow on you. After several listens, however, I found myself in love with it. It is probably my favorite album that I have listened to this year. 10/10 all around.
I have to say, I was expecting this to dissapoint. I mean, for one thing, take the album name and art as an example. A little cheesy right? I thought so. However, when it was finally released I realized what I was hearing wasn’t the sound of a band falling apart at the seams, it was completely the opposite. There is not one bad song on the CD, though the highlights are lead single “Medicate” and “Okay, I Feel Better Now,” the latter of which has a really epic, alternative rock type sound, and the first of which is just AFI playing straight up rock ‘n’ roll and doing what they do best. This album continues to stun me three months after release, and I would unconditionally recommend this to anyone. A rock solid 9/10.
Now this band is something else. They are a French screamo band from Lyon, France, formed in 2002. I have to say I am particularly wowed by this record. Most of the time, I resent albums in other languages because to me there is virtually no meaning to what they are saying. With this band though, the vocalist pours so much emotion in to his cathartic scream and voice that it does not bother me at all. In many of the songs, there are also calm instrumental breaks, the perfect contrast to the blistering screams that they do most of the time. One of the songs, I believe, is entirely instrumental, but both the song and album didn’t bore me once. Y is like The Raging Bull at Six Flags; a brutal roller coaster ride that you’ll want to experience again and again. 9/10
Hey guys! I got my first eStore pet today, a Mistletoe Mouse, and I named her Missy. Here is a snapshot of her room!
Also check out my newly improved Spa! I got the Whirlwind Pool from the E-store. I wanted the tiled outdoor pool so badly, but I didn’t have enough points so I got this instead and moved the Hot Tub to Taiming’s room. I love my Spa so much now! I’m really happy with my Webkinz house and can’t wait ’till Christmas. See ya later!
Hey guys. It’s seemed that since Halloween the Webkinz blogosphere has gone even more downhill. The only people left haven’t posted in a few months. I guess they were right when they said Webkinz was a passing fad; two years later and now none of my friends are ever on, and there is not a single active Webkinz blog. I wish I would have never started this, in a way. It breaks my heart to talk to all these amazing, fun people and now they never post. Webkinz lured us into a trap, and it left us all weary and depressed. I haven’t been on in over a month myself.
Anyway, I just finished reading Messenger by Lois Lowry about a week and a half ago. It was a great book, better than The Giver and Gathering Blue for sure, but I won’t spoil it for those that haven’t read it. I have lost so many connections with friends lately that I’m reading more than ever; Facebook, Twitter, songwriting, and well, blogging also help fill that gaping hole. But I can’t help feel that it’s never enough. Nothing in this world lasts, and now I find myself desperately reaching for the future I want so badly. Maybe I sound dramatic, but it’s true in essence, i.e. I haven’t spoked to my friend Conor in four months and our band has been broken up for over a year, and I have around 20 songs that I want to record so very badly. I’m also writing a short story, as I told you before. The roughdraft isn’t even halfway done, but when I finish it (if I ever do) I promise I will post it for anyone who still reads this blog!
Mostly I am done with Webkinz, but I’ve always wanted the Webkinz Boston Terrier so I asked for it for Christmas. Speaking of which, I also asked for a Flyleaf CD/T-shirt and I saw that in my dad’s car’s trunk today.
So what’s up with you? Let me know. I am bored out of my mind!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been on in forever, I keep forgetting my password because its set to the auto-generated one and I’m too lazy to change it.
On Wednesday, I did get the webkinz Opossum. Its a girl, and I named it Pookie, because last year we had a possum come out on our deck and that’s what we named her. Yesterday I got my mask for Halloween, and it cost $56.00! It was actually $69.99, but we got a $20 discount because the lady at the counter said it was a really good mask. With tax, it came out to be $56.00. It was totally worth it though, because it scares the crap out of my cats and it looks really, really cool. It looks kind of like a cross between an evil cat and a werewolf. I would post a picture of it, but I don’t have one right now.
I also just finished reading the book Tenth Grade Bleeds by Heather Brewer, the third book from The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod (anyone else read that series?) and I have to say it is my favorite of the series so far. I won’t go into detail, but I will say it has a great ending and quite a few surprises. It’s definitely a big improvement from the first and second books.
So how are you guys going? Share your thoughts if your reading this. I’m quite bored at the moment. xD
Cheek out!
Hey readers, if there are any of you. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Since that last post I got a bunch of new Webkinz. They’re on the About page if you’re interested. Also, in my webkinz house I now have an underwater room, a rec room, a movie theater, spa, and new bathroom! I will post those very soon. I’m also thinking of writing a new Webkinz story, but I have no ideas right now. If you have any, hit me up asap. The rooms should be up later today or tomorrow.

Since Cocoa and Vanilla I have gotten 2 (!) new webkinz. I got the American Albino and named him Tony, and the Bat and named him Vlad. Also, my birthday is next week (September 1) and I will probably be getting some new ones soon. Peace out!

Yesterday I got two webkinz from my local gift shop, and named them Vanilla and Cocoa. Vanilla is a boy and Cocoa is a girl. Bios will be up soon, and be sure to check out their room on the My Webkinz Rooms page.

I’ve been an avid music fan for about a year and a half now, and these are my favorite albums ever so far. (In no particular order)

Two posts ago I told you I was working on a story called End Times. Well, I’ve been thinking that it would be cool if I posted the whole thing, chapter by chapter, on here. That way you guys could read it and critique it and it would be a win-win situation. Because of this, a STORY PAGE is coming soon. Keep an eye out for it and thank you for reading this short post. More stuff will be coming soon!
